This is a role where your expertise, compassion, and commitment will help shape brighter futures for students with diverse and complex needs.What you will be doing.As a key member of our multi‑professional team, you will:Plan, deliver and teach engaging lessons to individuals and small groups, following our Curriculum FrameworkMonitor, record and report on student progress with accuracy and insightContribute to whole‑school development and help drive forward our School Development PlanPromote the physical, educational and moral development of every studentCreate and maintain a stimulating, well‑organised classroom environmentCoordinate subject areas across key stages as agreed with the Head TeacherDevelop, implement and review IEPs, IBPs and other personalised plansEnsure learning is safe, purposeful and appropriately risk‑assessed both on and off siteSupport and guide LSAs, Tutors, Instructors and care staff to deliver high‑quality learning experiencesWork effectively with challenging behaviour, helping students move from external regulation to self‑controlCommunicate consistently with care staff, families and colleagues to ensure a joined‑up approachMaintain accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory standardsSafeguard all students and uphold their wellbeing at all timesMeet the Professional Standards for Teachers in fullThis is a role for someone who thrives on making a meaningful difference every single day.What You’ll BringWe’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:QTS or equvilent qualificationA commitment to delivering high‑quality education within agreed budgets and resourcesStrong awareness of Health & Safety, safeguarding and child protectionThe ability to recognise and report concerns promptly and appropriatelyExcellent communication, teamwork and relationship‑building skillsA proactive approach to personal development and ongoing trainingProfessionalism, integrity and a commitment to our organisational valuesA willingness to contribute to team meetings, supervisions and annual reviewsA passion for promoting the school as a valued, respected part of the communityAbout Us Red Kite is a brand-new independent special educational needs school which will cater for up to 60 pupils with social and emotional health needs.
