Brighton College Vietnam is looking to appoint an Teacher of Art and Design Technology (Senior School) to join our team in August 2026.ROLE SPECIFICATION The academic success of Brighton College Vietnam is due to excellent, innovative and well-planned teaching. Reporting to: Head of Design Technology and Head of ArtTHE DEPARTMENTS: Design and Technology: The Design and Technology department currently consists of three members, including a Head of Department, one Teacher and two Technicians. Each member of staff has a unique and inspiring background which makes for a varied and comprehensive curriculum. The subject is taught throughout Prep School and up to Sixth Form. Our dedicated DT facilities are well equipped with a wide range of tools, equipment, and materials, enabling pupils to design, develop, and prototype innovative and forward-thinking products. Art: The Creative Arts is a vibrant and dynamic environment in which pupils are encouraged to develop their creativity through a wide range of media. Pupils explore a variety of artistic techniques, analyse artworks, and produce their own creative responses. The team currently consists of a Head of Department and a technician. An abundance of specialist facilities is available, including a photography studio, darkroom, and art studios, providing inspiring spaces where imagination and creativity are actively nurtured. The successful candidate will teach Art and Design & Technology (D.T) throughout the Key Stage 3 and up to Sixth Form. They should be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching Art and D.T, in addition to having excellent subject knowledge and practical experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To be an ambassador of the College at all times. To teach a timetable, carry out staff duties (as determined by SLT) and actively support the Co-Curricular Programme leading a minimum of two activities per week. Teaching and Learning To encourage each pupil to reach their academic potential through enthusiastic and personalised teaching, tailored stretch and challenge, rigorous record keeping and follow up.
