Contract: Permanent, 0.4 FteWe are looking to appoint an exceptional, passionate and dynamic dance teacher. The successful applicant will join a vibrant well-established dance department which enjoys an excellent reputation. The Dance department works closely with the other Performing Arts to create outstanding opportunities and experiences for our pupils. Dance is embedded within the Key stage 3 curriculum, and pupils can study Dance GCSE and A level. There are a wealth of dance and performing arts opportunities through our unrivalled enrichment provision and numerous opportunities for participation in performances and trips.We are seeking to appoint an individual who is excited by the opportunity to join this thriving department and who can teach Dance at Key Stages 3 and 4. Prior experience of successfully teaching Dance at A-Level would be advantageous.Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils, aged 3 – 18.Working at Ipswich High School suits those who have a genuine commitment to both the academic and personal development of young people as well as the willingness to contribute to the wide enrichment (co-curricular) and community activity of our school.
