This is a fantastic opening to shape the curriculum for our secondary students and lead a team of collaborative professionals in the Middle Years Programme.About the roleAs a Mathematics teacher at ISH, you will engage with a diverse student body, fostering academic excellence through differentiated instruction and global perspectives. As a valued member of our team, you’ll enjoy:A supportive, inclusive staff culture that genuinely values wellbeing and work-life balance.A firm commitment to your ongoing professional growth and career development.The chance to work in a forward-thinking school that celebrates international mindedness.Who are we looking for?The ideal candidate aligns with the ISH Community Profile and thrives in a high-demand, inquiry-based learning environment.Essential qualifications and experienceA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics (or a closely related field).An official teaching qualification for Mathematics.A minimum of 2 years of successful full-time Mathematics teaching experience in secondary school.Strong command of English, both spoken and written, as the language of instruction and communication.PreferredFive or more years of teaching experience, ideally in international or intercultural settings.Experience teaching Mathematics within the IB MYP and/or IB DP/CP frameworks.Familiarity with international school settings and culturally diverse student populations.A student-centred, inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning.A proactive and reflective attitude toward professional development.Applicants who have the right to work in The Netherlands, independent of employment status.We offerContract: As with all teacher appointments in The Netherlands, this is a 12-month temporary appointment with a view to a permanent contract, if all the conditions are met.Salary: Depending on the responsibilities assigned, the successful candidate will be appointed in one of the following salary scales based on the Dutch Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) for Secondary Education (steps in the scale depend on relevant background and experience):Teacher = scale LB: €3622 –
