Hartland International School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic female Teacher of PE to join our team on a maternity cover contract commencing 17 August 2026 for term one of the academic year.Hartland has established a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and leadership in the regio with a student body of just over 2200 students from nearly 110 nationalities. By being ambitious, not only for students but for yourself, you will help us build and maintain a successful programme of study in Physical Education by sharing in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care. The successful candidate will also be expected to make a contribution to our unique and strong enrichment programme which ensures that learning and opportunity are diverse for all.Hartland currently offers certificated courses in GCSE as well as BTEC Level 3 at Sixth Form. Curriculum learning is supported by a thriving after school sports programme, with over 100 sports teams and more than 50% of students representing the school in at least one sport. The successful candidate will:· Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification· Have experience of teaching Physical Education in the UK or in an international setting· Have a minimum two years’ teaching experience· Previous experience of teaching swimming is desirable· Have exceptional communication skills· Be committed to the Hartland Values which can be found on our website In return you will have the opportunity to work in a premium state-of-the-art modern school with a committed and dedicated staff.
