Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL qualified teacher, preferably with one or more years of experience. Familiarity with Cambridge English exam preparation. Details of Position The British School of Brindisi is looking for full-time teacher for teaching positions starting from October 2026 until the end of June 2027 to teach a range of courses for children, teenagers, and adults at all levels. Our courses take place on our own school premises and off-site in state schools and companies. Our schools are based in southern Italy and are professionally run by friendly and highly motivated staff. We are happy to consider candidates who wish to return to the UK for Summer School posts and then return to us for the start of the following academic year. We usually only offer full-time teaching contracts but for teachers already living in Italy, we can consider part-time. Qualifications Cambridge CELTA We require our teachers to have a recognised official teaching qualification enabling you to teach English as a Foreign Language (RSA or Trinity certificate 100 hours training) Cambridge CELTA or Trinity College Cert TESOL (not online, weekend or other short courses unless the applicant has had at least 2 years teaching experience in a Language School following the course). We’re hiring Candidates who also have experience of preparation for the University of Cambridge exams and/or IGCSE Physics and Biology. It is essential that the candidate is able to provide two good professional references and enjoys working with children and adults. Salary and Benefits Contract until end-June or July 2027 (extendable and/or renewable by mutual consent). 25 teaching hours a week The salary will be based on experience and qualifications but ranges from 1,150.00 to 1,200.00 net per month.
