Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 12:45 to 5:30pm, Monday to Fridays, plus 3 hours and 45 minutes on Saturdays with the exact start and finish times to be agreed with the Director of Sport.Contract: One Year Fixed Term Contract from September 2026 to August 2027. St George’s Junior School requires a Graduate Sports Assistant to join the PE Department for one academic year from September 2026. This position would suit candidates who are considering a career in the teaching profession and would provide excellent work experience.We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and highly motivated individual who would like to be part of a vibrant and inspirational department. Candidates should ideally be able to coach to a high level in at least one of the Junior School sports and will be asked to coach and officiate within a range of sports across the contract. Experience in playing or coaching Netball, Rugby, Hockey, Cricket, or Football to a high level would be an advantage.The PE Department stresses all aspects of good practice in physical education and are passionate about developing sport at the Junior School.
