By offering hands-on support during challenging moments and fostering an environment of engagement and respect, you will ensure our school remains a safe, happy space where every child is given the tools to make a positive contribution to society.Whether you are an experienced behaviour specialist or have a background supporting children and want to take your next step in education, you will join a welcoming team dedicated to helping you succeed.Start Date: 1st September 2026Contract Type: Fixed Term (until 31/08/2027)Working Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)Working Pattern: 8:45am – 3:15pm Monday to FridayA Day in the Life:You’ll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:Implementing whole-school behaviour policies and procedures, providing direct support with managing challenging behaviour. Providing targeted interventions for pupils with behavioural difficulties, offering both one-to-one and small group support. Liaising with senior leaders, class teachers, and parents regarding pupil behaviour and progress. Promoting restorative approaches to conflict resolution while fostering pupils’ personal and social growth. Supervising and supporting pupils who may be isolated from lessons, ensuring they safely complete the work provided by teaching staff. Maintaining highly accurate records and reports on behaviour incidents and interventions.What We’re Looking For:You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:Successful experience working with children in a school or similar setting.The ability to demonstrate a range of effective behaviour strategies and confidently support the inclusion of pupils with emotional, behavioural or SEMH needs in a mainstream setting.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build respectful, trusting relationships and interact positively with pupils, parents and colleagues.A strong working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and inclusion policies.
