Kennington School, based near Waterlooville, Hampshire, is a new SEN school for children on the autism spectrum, opening September 2026.The successful candidates will be qualified to degree level and have a teaching qualification. Experience of teaching and supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those who have a diagnosis of autism is also necessary.Class sizes are typically no larger than eight students and each class has a dedicated Learning Support Assistant.The role demands the application of specialised teaching approaches, systematic planning and record keeping and the management and deployment of support staff as well as good ICT skills.
