This is a full-time position, but we would be interested to speak to candidates who are interested in flexible opportunities that may suit our timetable needs. You would be covering a mix of planned absence (e.g. for teacher CPD) and reactive cover, which is set each morning. You may be assigned to certain areas of the curriculum more than others, based on your knowledge and the staffing requirements, but you would need to be flexible to cover a full range of subjects. Our Cover Supervisors can access the same outstanding training activities and support we offer to our subject specialist teachers, and we would encourage you to take a full role in school life alongside your cover duties. This position could also serve as a great platform for candidates considering a career in education, in particular teaching or teaching assistant.
