Network International School is looking to appoint a passionate, caring and dedicated Deputy Head of Secondary for August 2026. The Deputy Head works closely with the Head of Secondary and wider school Leadership Team, supporting academic and pastoral leadership, driving standards, and ensuring the highest outcomes for our learners.The successful candidate will have:Experience of leading academic and/or pastoral teams;Ability to lead and inspire staff;Experience of contributing to or leading school development priorities and embedding change;Experience using the English National Curriculum;Experience of teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A Level;A good understanding of personalised learning, feedback and assessment;A passion for supporting and developing the whole child in a nurturing and enriched environment;A dedication to Extracurricular provision;Enthusiasm for the House system, including organising and supporting competitions/events;Recognised teaching qualifications;A commitment to ongoing personal development and growth;A passionate, caring and team focused attitude.Key responsibilitiesActing as part of the Secondary Leadership team to provide strategic leadership across the Secondary School;Working as part of the Extended Executive Leadership team to contribute to strategic leadership across the Whole School.Taking a lead role in key strategic areas (Pastoral or Academic focus depending on strengths of candidate).Monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of our educational provision through coaching, observation, and professional dialogue;Leading data analysis in identified areas to inform planning, intervention, and whole-school improvement priorities;Supporting and developing Middle Leaders and teachers through high-quality professional learning;Ensuring effective care, progression, continuity, and challenge across all year groups;Assisting with safeguarding as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead.About the schoolNetwork International School is the leading British international school in Yangon and the first to be accredited by BSO (British School Overseas).
