DESCRIPTION The Director of Admissions & Client Service leads Maximo Nivels inside sales and customer service function. Based in San Jose, Costa Rica, the Admissions & Client Service (inside sales) team provides the first touchpoint that prospective clients, students, and faculty members have with Maximo Nivel. This team delivers the first GREAT experience people have with the organization. The Director of Admissions & Client Service drives enrollment, revenue, and business sustainability for the overall organization. The Admissions & Client Service team is responsible for managing all pre-arrival sales and client service. As the leader of the Admissions & Client Service function, the Director drives strategies and initiatives to continually deliver great performance against revenue goals. The Director leads the Admissions & Client Service team by building a friendly, but frank culture focused on meeting revenue targets and serving Maximos clients and channel partners. The Director manages a team of 15 people; works as a key member of the Executive Team; and reports directly to the Founder & President of Maximo Nivel. The Director is involved with a number of international clients and partners and must effectively communicate with them to ensure Maximo maintains these relationships, provides timely and professional information, and ensures GREAT client service! Invoicing and payments are also managed within Admissions & Client Service Team and the Director works closely with the Accounting Departments and program managers in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru. Maximo Nivel’s study abroad programs take place in world class destinationsCosta Rica, Guatemala, Peru, and Online. Programs include: Service Learning, Volunteer Abroad, International Internships, University Abroad, TEFL Certification, Spanish Immersion, Gap Year, Summer Camp, and more. RESPONSIBLITIES Manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of Program Advisors and Team Leaders. Provide organization, leadership, and coaching for sales and client service. Build a professional, friendly, and positive environment. Establish standards for quality and performance. Provide daily supervision to the Admissions & Client Service team. Guide and monitor daily activities for inbound and outbound calls, emails, follow-ups, monitor leads and queues, and oversee sales and service metrics. Be the subject matter expert on sales strategies and enrollment processes for the entire organization. Provide true, hands-on sales leadership. Oversee database management through the CRM system and other online platforms. Qualifications Masters QUALIFICATIONS –Work visa support provided Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 5-8+ years of experience leading inside sales teams (B2C and B2B applicable) Fluent English; Advanced Spanish preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent writing skills and face-to-face presentation skills Strong team management skills and a love for team training Adept at setting goals and managing competing priorities Results-Focusedincreasing enrollment and delivering great client service Metric driven; Able to understand, analyze, and present data to support business decisions Experience with CRM systems, workflow, lead management, and customer lifecycle Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and G-Suite Strong understanding of sales/marketing automation Ability to travel up to 25% Salary and Benefits SALARY $3,500 to $8,000 per month (USD) Monthly bonus program Paid vacation Health insurance Work visa support
