Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL, Details: English Language Development (ELD) Coordinator – Job Description We are seeking an experienced ELD Coordinator to lead and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s English Language Development program. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of WIDA standards, second language acquisition, and effective use of both push-in and pull-out service models. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and implement a comprehensive ELD program aligned with WIDA standards and best practices in language acquisition Support and coach teachers in delivering effective push-in and pull-out instructional models Analyze WIDA assessment data (e.g., ACCESS, MODEL) to guide program decisions and student placement Lead professional development on strategies for supporting multilingual learners across content areas Collaborate with school leadership and teachers to ensure equitable access to the curriculum Monitor student progress and program effectiveness, adjusting services as needed Ensure compliance with relevant policies and documentation requirements Qualifications: Experience working with English language learners in a school setting Strong understanding of WIDA framework, proficiency levels, and assessments Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience Deep knowledge of second language acquisition and instructional best practices Excellent collaboration and communication skills
