Contract: Fixed Term for one academic year from 1 September 2026Hours: 45 hours per week – Monday to Saturday during term time, times as agreed with the Director of Sport, as required by the timetable and needs of the Department.Basis: Term Time only (32 weeks) 0.69231 FTESalary: actual salary £20,400 pa plus free accommodation and meals.(Based on a full time, 52 weeks per year 1 FTE salary of £29,500 pa)Required from: September 2026Closing date: Friday 1 May 2026 About the RoleWe are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Development Athletic Coach to plan and deliver high-quality physical development programmes for athletes. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Head of Strength Conditioning, alongside coaches, medical staff and athletes to enhance performance, reduce injury risk and support long-term athletic development. The role includes programme design, performance testing, athlete education and ongoing monitoring, with a strong focus on evidence-based practice and professional standards. We welcome applications from graduates, or undergraduates due to graduate in 2026 with a degree in Sport Science or a related field. Applicants will ideally hold UKSCA accreditation or be working towards this.
