OverviewAbbey College Cambridge is seeking a Health & Safety and Facilities Co‑ordinator to support the effective running of our College campus and four boarding accommodation sites. Reporting to the College Facilities Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our sites are safe, compliant and well‑maintained, working closely with contractors, colleagues and external providers. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining facilities administration, health and safety coordination and practical on‑site problem‑solving. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:· Coordinating health and safety checks, compliance records and statutory inspections· Acting as a point of contact for contractors, landlords and third‑party site managers· Maintaining accurate logs for fire safety, first aid, emergency exits and site checks· Managing facilities communications and supporting exam room setups· Supporting safeguarding procedures, including escorting contractors where required Qualifications and ExperienceYou will be well‑organised, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working in a busy educational environment.
