*Applicant must have permission to work in the EU or hold a valid work permit for employment in the EU * WE ARE LOOKING FOR EFL/YL TEACHERS FOR POSITIONS STARTING IN OCTOBER 2026 Your contract will be until the end of May with the possibility of working in June too. The positions available involve 25 teaching hours per week, no mornings, Monday to Friday. There is an average of between 4 or 5 lessons per day. Planning, admin and meetings are not part of the 25 hours weekly teaching hours. You will be teaching YLE 4-10 yrs old,and students up to a C1 level, depending on your timetable and experience. Teachers are given all the appropriate material and support required. All classes are equipped with interactive boards and white boards. Lessons will be held in presence or online from the school. Classes last 1.20 minutes. Individual lessons last 1 hour. Teachers all have set classes while some of the individual lessons may vary weekly. Regular meetings and training sessions (including exam training sessions) are held regularly. The school is in Villa San Giovanni (RC) a small quiet town facing Sicily. Villa San Giovanni offers stunning views of the Strait of Messina, with Sicily visible on the horizon and reachable with a 20 minute ferry crossing. Villa has all the essential facilities and is 15 minutes train away from the central city of Reggio Calabria famous for its stunning coastline, historic centre and the National Archaeological Museum. Villa is also a short train ride away from the picturesque seaside town of Scilla, with its medieval castle and beautiful beaches. Villa is in an ideal position to visit the South of Italy and Sicily at weekends. We help finding suitable accommodation in the centre of Villa. The school is proud of its friendly but well organised atmosphere Qualifications Cambridge CELTA Teachers applying for the available position, must have a Celta (not online) a YLE certificate or referenced experience in the YLE exams, Cambridge exams and teaching field. We are looking for engaging, energetic, reliable, well prepared teachers, who love teaching and being part of a team. At least one year’s teaching experience is essential. We are willing to train and help teachers who are less experienced in the preparation of Cambridge Exams. Salary and Benefits €1,200 – €1,400 / month net ≈ £1,040–£1,213 / $1,394–$1,627 Dependent on qualification and experience We offer an Italian 8 or 9 month Legal Contract with applicable benefits. Christmas, Easter and Bank Holidays all paid. End of year bonus. Contracts start at 1200 Euro net per month and increase based on experience. The contract is for 25 teaching hours per week. You are still paid your full salary if under your working hours. Teaching days are from Monday to Friday only. Help with finding accommodation in the centre of Villa. Possibility of renewing contract for next teaching year. Assistance with arrival and pick up from Reggio Calabria’s airport or Villa’s train/ferry station.
