We are seeking a warm, highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Head of Willow Lodge & Junior School. Based at the heart of our Junior School, you will be the first point of contact for many parents, staff and visitors. Your professionalism, calm approach and ability to manage competing priorities will help ensure that the school day runs seamlessly and that the Head is supported to lead effectively. What You’ll Be Doing • Managing the Head’s diary with confidence, clarity and foresight, acting as an effective gatekeeper and ensuring time is used efficiently• Handling sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion and integrity• Building strong relationships with colleagues, parents and external partners, becoming a trusted and approachable presence within the school• Supporting the planning and delivery of key school events, including Prize Giving, the Cathedral Carol Service.• Playing a key role in the day‑to‑day administration of the school About YouWe’re looking for someone who:• A natural relationship‑builder who works positively with colleagues across the school• Highly organised, adaptable and able to stay calm in a fast‑paced environment• Confident in managing multiple priorities and communicating clearly with a wide range of people• Previous PA experience is essential• Experience in a school setting is desirable, but a genuine interest in education and working with families is just as valuableHours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Term time only + 2 weeks Salary £24,835 per annum (Full time equivalent £29,410 per annum) For full details please see the attached Applicant Information Pack Closing date 9am Wednesday 6th May 2026 Interviews may take place ahead of the official closing date so early applications are encouragedThe role is deemed to be in regulated activity with a moderate level of contact with children on a day to day basis.
