About the schoolWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic teacher of Physical Education and Sports, who will teach mainly in the Secondary School. For suitably experienced candidates the post of Director of PE and Healthy Living, with significant additional renumeration, is available to join the Leadership Structure of the school, playing a key role within management. Experience of teaching to IGCSE level is essential, and as an International Baccalaureate school we will also expect the successful candidate to teach within the IB Diploma, with training provided if needed.Richmond Park School is an exciting new project located in a highly attractive residential area well connected to the centre of Madrid. The school opened with Early Years and Primary in September 2019 and is led by two highly experienced leaders of education for Primary and Secondary, supported by a strong private company with a vast experience of British education in Spain. As planned, the school is growing substantially. Early Years through to Year 6 are already at full capacity with three classes per year group. The Secondary section has two classes per year group and will extend to three classes year by year as the lower classes move up. An exciting new phase began in September 2022 when students inaugurated the modern and spacious secondary building. Our Year 11 cohorts have achieved excellent IGCSEs results and the school introduced the International Baccalaureate Diploma for our Year 12 and 13 students, following a successful authorisation process. A large and exciting brand new International Baccalaureate Centre with superb facilities opened in September 2025.The school focuses on the academic and holistic development of each pupil. Our broad curriculum, further extended through co-curricular projects and experiences, empowers all pupils to fulfil their potential through acquiring high-level knowledge, deep understanding, and extensive skills. Pupils become creative, independent, and reflective thinkers and effective communicators. Equally important, core moral and ethical values, such as respect, kindness, and integrity, underpin the educational process.
