Working closely with our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality learning experiences that inspire, motivate and support our pupils to achieve their full potential.What you’ll be doingDeliver well‑structured, engaging lessons by adapting schemes of work to meet pupil needs.Manage classes effectively using approaches that motivate and support pupils with SEMH needs.Assess learning accurately and use this to inform teaching.Work closely with pupils experiencing social, emotional and mental health challenges, helping them overcome barriers to learning.Maintain a safe, positive and productive learning environment through effective behaviour management.Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.What you will bringGCSE’s Grade 4/C above or equivalent in English and MathsHave experience within an SEMH/SEN specialist provision or are currently working in a mainstream or college setting.Are enthusiastic, flexible and aligned with our school values.Are eager to develop their skills within a specialist SEMH environment.Are committed to ongoing professional development and career progression.Are motivated to make a meaningful difference to pupils with additional needs.About Us Belmont Primary School is an Independent School which offers boys aged between 5 – 11 years who have Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenged and additional complex behaviours to access a tailored education that suits their needs.We pride ourselves in steering pupils in the right direction, nurturing aspiration to progress them both academically and socially to encourage them to take pride in their achievements.
