We provide an exceptional educational experience to children from Early Years to post-sixteen, and purpose-built facilities reflect our commitment to providing the best possible environment for learning and development.As part of Taaleem, one of the largest educational providers in the UAE, we are committed to professional excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring that our children and staff are prepared for success in an ever-changing global landscape.https://www.instagram.com/risabudhabikcc/Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Officer and Transport Coordinator to oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of health and safety systems across the school, while also managing school transport operations and compliance.The role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with ADEK, ADPHC/DoH, Civil Defence, ADOSH, and ITC requirements, maintaining a safe environment for students, staff, contractors, and visitors, and overseeing STS and all school transport-related operations.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth and SafetyLead and manage all health and safety compliance across the school in line with ADEK and ADOSH requirementsLead on risk assessments, inspections, audits, and compliance monitoringManage emergency procedures including fire drills, emergency response planning, and incident reportingMaintain health and safety records, compliance documentation, licences, permits, and regulatory submissionsInvestigate incidents, accidents, and safety concerns, ensuring appropriate reporting and corrective actionsDeliver staff training, inductions, and promote a strong health and safety culture across the schoolLiaise with government authorities during inspections and compliance visitsTransport CoordinationAct as the main school point of contact for STS and oversee the day-to-day coordination of school transport, including parent queries, transport communication, bus compliance requirements, and liaison between the school and the transport provider to ensure smooth and safe operations.Skills and AttributesStrong understanding of ADEK, ADPHC, ADOSH, Civil Defence, and ITC compliance requirementsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving and organisational abilityHigh attention to detail with the ability to improve systems and processesAbility to work effectively with staff, parents, contractors, and senior leadershipCommitment to safeguarding and child protection in line with school policy
