Core Responsibilities: · Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons for children of varying ages and abilities, including the school curriculum and swim squads.· Provide clear instructions, feedback, and encouragement during lessons.· Attend regular training and professional development sessions to improve coaching skills.· Log and report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the PE curriculum lead.· Ensure lessons are enjoyable, educational, and motivate children to enhance their swimming skills.· Assist with organizing and running swimming events, such as galas.· Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the swimming pool and surrounding areas.· Carry out any other duties as delegated by the PE curriculum lead.Safeguarding, Inclusion, and Wellbeing · Citizens School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
