We collaborate closely with local stakeholders to address systemic barriers in education, operating both the Mungere School and Beyond Academy near Mto wa Mbu in northern Tanzania.

Our approach centers on empowering communities through high-quality, cost-effective education and professional development, fostering sustainable and lasting impact.

is seeking passionate and dedicated ESL-trained English Teachers to join our professional teaching team, supporting students aged 12–17 in Forms I–IV (Grade 7–10).

Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction that strengthens foundational English language skills.

Design and facilitate creative lessons for beginner and intermediate learners in speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension, equipping students with the language proficiency and confidence needed for academic and career success.

The Mungere School serves a remote community where English is rarely spoken, and primary school instruction is conducted in Swahili.

A shortage of qualified teachers, coupled with English serving as the primary language of instruction in secondary school, contributes to substantial linguistic and academic challenges for students transitioning from primary education.

The organization addresses this need by strengthening students’ language proficiency to fully engage with and succeed in their academic studies.

In addition to classroom instruction, staff support extracurricular activities that foster creativity, confidence, and holistic personal development.

Mungere Village is nestled in Africa’s Great Rift Valley, a short distance from Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti plains and other fascinating destinations.

• Flexibility, resiliency, and openness to learning in a rural East African context, with patience, humility, and a strong commitment to equitable, accessible education.

• Full-time placement: 5 days per week, approximately 35–40 hours
• Monthly stipend available of USD $200
• Housing with utilities provided at no cost to participants
• does not charge program fees; participants cover their own travel, visa, and personal living expenses, roughly USD $200–300/month
