Teacher of Mathematics/Further Maths (paternity cover), start date November 2026We are seeking an outstanding teacher of mathematics to cover a paternity and childcare leave beginning from the start of November 2026 through to at least end of April 2027, who will be an ambitious and dynamic colleague who shares our vision of teaching as a vocation, and who will seize an exciting opportunity to work at Rugby School Japan (RSJ). There is the potential that the successful candidate could be considered for a teaching contract that extends beyond the paternity cover.The post holder is required to teach Mathematics and potentially Further Mathematics, up to and including A level pupils. The post holder will also be expected to make a full contribution to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the School.RSJ is the second international sister school of Rugby School, one of the UK’s most prestigious and well-known schools. It shares Rugby’s aims and ethos, and aspires to be one of Asia’s top schools. RSJ is an international co-educational day and boarding school for 11-18-year olds, located on a spectacular campus in Kashiwa-no-ha, 30 minutes by train from central Tokyo.
