Working closely with teachers and specialists, you will provide tailored one-to-one and small group support, helping to deliver engaging and creative learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.You will support pupils’ academic progress alongside their social, emotional, and behavioural development, creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where they can thrive. Building positive, trusting relationships will be at the heart of everything you do, helping pupils to grow in confidence and overcome barriers to learning.What You’ll Be DoingProviding 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needsSupporting the delivery of creative, engaging lessons alongside teaching staffHelping pupils develop confidence, independence and emotional resilienceBuilding positive, trusting relationships that support progress and wellbeingSupporting a range of learning experiences, including outdoor activitiesWorking collaboratively with teachers, therapists and colleagues to deliver consistent supportAbout youThis role is ideal for someone who is:GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Compassionate, calm, and adaptable, even when things don’t go to planComfortable working both indoors and outdoors, supporting a range of learning experiencesA natural communicator and team player, able to build rapport with pupils and staffPassionate about inclusive education and supporting young people with SENEager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a dynamic school environmentAbout Us Miller House School is a brand-new school located in Stoneygate, Leicester. The school opened in September 2025, has a capacity of 80 pupils, and offers a co-educational provision for students with complex needs, including SEMH.Miller House School is a specialist SEMH setting for young people aged 11–16. We are committed to supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, as well as autism and ADHD.
