2013- 2017 (sold the business)
● I started a pregnancy/maternity business to supplement income. I saw a niche in
the market and capitalised on it. I supplied massive retailers like that of Toys R
US, and online stores like Faithful to Nature and Spree. They all stocked my
products. A fantastic maternity clinic called Origin supplied my items to all moms
giving birth at their clinic.
● I created and designed all the products myself. I had packaging designed,
catalogues and marketing material made
● As the business grew, I became adept at bookkeeping, I managed the books and
did all the admin and filing myself.
● Staff and payroll were high priority. I contracted out various tasks like sewing and
graphic design.
● Event management became of great importance. The biggest avenue for
marketing and sales for the business was to be at the various baby expos
around the country.
Marketing and restaurant Manager of Village Bistro:
January 2014-December 2014 (used the time to build up own business)
● My primary role was that of customer service, serving of food and beverages and
ensuring a pleasant experience whilst dining at the restaurant- anticipating needs
of the customer and remembering their special requests.
● I was responsible for the various staff members, to make sure that the restaurant
was ready for business for the day and night shifts and that staff had done their
relevant tasks.

● I researched for episode inserts, put together content for inserts, live interviews
and pre–records.
● I covered every topic from medical to sports to current affairs.
● I coordinated presenters and crew, I scouted and booked locations and
scheduled flights and any and all accommodation required for the guests coming
on the show.
Studio/Live Floor Manager
● I worked on the live show as a floor manager.
● I coordinated between guests and the crew.
● I made sure the sound was working, that guests and presenters had mics
and comms for communication on the floor.
● I communicated with the director for any and all requests making sure that
each segment went off beautifully and without a hitch.
● I managed the studio, cleaning staff and the various elements that make up a
live crew

2009- 2011
● I was working as a freelance ESL instructor for adults at iEnglish, Ta’aleem,
ANT and Conversation Club in Dubai, UAE.
● I did corporate English training, where I went to companies and helped them
with their English communication skills with general and Business English.
● I planned my own lessons, prepared and delivered them according to the needs
of my students.
● My main areas of expertise have been centred on the IELTS and TOEFL
preparation courses, but also that of general English and some business English.
● I trained teachers who were in the process of being certified for their ESL
qualifications. I have been assigned the task of tutoring and streamlining their
skills, helping them develop and encouraging them to try new ways of teaching.
● I hosted and was the master of ceremonies at events for various corporate
companies, year end events, corporate retreats and social events.
Cabin Crew: Dubai
2008- 2009: Emirates Airlines
● I worked on the main fleet on the Boeing and Airbuses then converted to the
A380 which required intensive service and hospitality training
● Safety and security procedures were to be conducted on each flight, throughout
the flight and after passengers have disembarked.

● I taught English at a private academy in South Korea.
● I had to create my own curriculum to supplement the few books they had andteach it to children who did not understand or speak any English, without the help
of an interpreter.
