The ideal candidate will be passionate about Chemistry and must have the ability to inspire students at Key Stage 3 Science, Edexcel IGCSE, Edexcel International A-Level and IBDP. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, supporting students to reach their full potential, and contributing to the broader academic and co-curricular life of the College. Leadership responsibilities may be available for candidates with suitable skills and experience.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to students across a range of age groups and abilities according to the scheme of learning and course timelines.Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry examinations, ensuring they achieve their best possible results.Engage with students’ academic progress, providing regular feedback and support.Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.Participate in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and school-wide activities.Support and contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school.Qualifications and Experience:A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is required; a postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is preferred.Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 3 Science, IGCSE, and A-Level in an international school or British curriculum school.A genuine passion for Chemistry and a commitment to student-centred learning.Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the school community.Experience in using modern teaching techniques and integrating technology into the classroom.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and vibrant school community.Beautiful campus with excellent facilities.Policy and PracticesThe College is committed to the safeguarding of pupils and expects all staff to share this commitment.
