We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of French to join our successful Modern Foreign Languages department.You will play a key role fostering pupils’ intellectual curiosity and a strong appreciation of global cultures, setting high expectations and providing appropriate challenges to support every learner to reach their full potential in their French studies.You will:Ensure progress in pupils’ learning, following a bespoke curriculum in which you are free to use a range of teaching methodsPromote languages and cultures through our strong co-curricular offer, which includes popular trips, clubs, and inter-departmental eventsTake part in our successful annual Languages and Cultures Week, celebrating languages learnt in school and languages spoken at homeSupport the school’s strong commitment to promoting diversity and inclusionFrench is a popular subject and each year we have a healthy cohort of A-level students, with some also studying a second language.
