Native English-Speaking Non-Tenured Professors Needed at , Cheongju, Korea
is looking for native English-speaking non-tenured professors who currently reside in Korea to teach credit conversation classes at , beginning September 1, 2026.

1.

Position Details
The contract requires that 12 credit classes be taught (4 working days per week) and 2 office hours be held per week, with the opportunity to teach overtime credits (W25,000 per hour) and non-credit classes (W40,000 per hour).

The contract period is two years (renewable).

Qualifications
– Native English speaker
– E-1/E-2 or F-visa holders who are currently residing in Korea will be preferred
– Minimum Requirement : Master’s degree or higher with at least two years of full-time university/college teaching (or research) experience after completion of Master’s degree
– Preferred Qualifications : English Language Teaching Certificate (e.g.

TESOL/TEFL/TESL/ CELTA/TKT)

Salary
The annual base salary for 2026 is W36,905,830 before Korean tax (W3,075,480 per month).

In Korean these documents are called 재직증명서 (for a current position) and 경력증명서 (for previous positions).

Applicants who have previous career experience as a part-time lecturer should state the number of weekly teaching hours on the certificate of employment/career
